校園校區(qū)

伊利諾伊理工學(xué)院擁有五個校區(qū)：

主校區(qū)：位于芝加哥市，占地120英畝（約0.49平方公里），所有的本科項目以及研究生中的工科、科學(xué)、建筑學(xué)、傳媒、心理學(xué)也是在開設(shè)在該校區(qū)。

市區(qū)校區(qū)（Downtown Campus）：位于芝加哥市中心，是商學(xué)院、法學(xué)院及公共管理課程項目的所在。

設(shè)計學(xué)院校區(qū)：同樣位于芝加哥，是設(shè)計學(xué)院的所在

丹尼爾·F與亞當(dāng)·L·萊斯校區(qū)：位于伊利諾伊州惠頓市（Wheaton）——芝加哥以西25英里的一座小城，是應(yīng)用技術(shù)學(xué)院的所在地，占地19英畝。

墨菲特校區(qū)：位于貝德福德公園（Bedford Park），是一座人口僅有500左右的村莊，是1988年由CPC國際公司捐給伊利諾伊理工學(xué)院的，現(xiàn)在是伊利諾伊理工的食品安全與衛(wèi)生學(xué)院的所在。

• 設(shè)計碩士（Master of Design，縮寫：M.Des）為期2年，共需修讀54個學(xué)分（預(yù)科課程為期1-2個學(xué)期）。要求申請者已擁有學(xué)士學(xué)位，GPA3.0以上，不限專業(yè)——事實上該項目50%的學(xué)生均無任何設(shè)計專業(yè)背景——商科、工程、人文、計算機(jī)科學(xué)、建筑學(xué)等專業(yè)的學(xué)生均可申請，但是設(shè)計基礎(chǔ)薄弱的學(xué)生可能會要求參加為期9個月的預(yù)科課程（foundation course）。該項目無需工作經(jīng)驗但其申請者通常都有2-4年相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗，需遞交個人作品并參加面試（校園、電話或視頻面試），要求遞交GRE或GMAT考試成績，總分要求分別為310分和600分以上，寫作分?jǐn)?shù)要求均為3.0以上。該項目每年約招收40-60名學(xué)生，錄取率在70%-75%之間

• 設(shè)計博士（PhD in Design）是全美第一個設(shè)計專業(yè)PhD項目，也是規(guī)模最大的項目。該項目強(qiáng)烈建議申請者已擁有設(shè)計專業(yè)或其相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的碩士學(xué)位，無需工作經(jīng)驗但其申請者通常都有2-4年相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗。需要遞交研究計劃并參加一個面試（校園、電話或視頻面試），無需遞交個人作品。要求遞交GRE考試成績，總分不低于310分。該項目自1992年開始開設(shè)以來，目前僅頒授了23個學(xué)位

• 設(shè)計方法碩士（Master of Design Methods，縮寫：MDM）項目要求申請者已擁有學(xué)士學(xué)位，至少5年（其申請者通常都有8-10年以上）工作經(jīng)驗，不要求GRE考試成績，但需遞交個人作品和面試（校園、電話或視頻面試）。該項目平均入學(xué)年齡為37歲。

• 設(shè)計碩士-工商管理碩士雙學(xué)位項目（Master of Design + MBA）：由設(shè)計學(xué)院與商學(xué)院共同開設(shè)，為期4-5個學(xué)期，其申請要求與Master of Design項目相同，但需要遞交175美元的申請費（Master of Design項目申請費為100美元）。該項目只需要向設(shè)計學(xué)院遞交一份申請，但其申請會由設(shè)計學(xué)院和商學(xué)院分別審核
